Tibial Shafts

Tibial Shafts are structural cortical allografts derived from the tibia. This advanced sterilization ensures deep cleaning, viral inactivation (SAL 10⁻⁶), and full biocompatibility while preserving the native collagen structure and biomechanical strength of the tibial bone.

The tibial shaft’s elongated and dense cortical design makes it ideal for use in load-bearing reconstructions, where mechanical strength and biological integration are essential.

Source: Human tibial cortical bone.

  • Biological Activity:

    • Osteoconductive scaffold for new bone formation and vascularization.

    • Osteoinductive potential through natural growth factor retention.

  • Sterility Assurance: Terminal sterilization with a 10⁻⁶ sterility level.

Indications for Use

  • Orthopedic Trauma: Reconstruction of large tibial defects, segmental replacements, and non-unions.

  • Oncology: Limb-salvage procedures following tumor resections requiring long cortical support.

  • Revision Arthroplasty: Bone stock restoration in revision hip/knee replacements.

  • Spinal & Limb Surgery: Can be adapted as cortical rings, wedges, or struts for spinal and limb reconstructions.

Available Sizes:

Lengths: 80 mm, 100 mm, 120 mm

  • Diameters: Customized per surgical need

  • Can be delivered as whole shafts or cut to surgeon specification.
