Humerus Grafts

Humerus Grafts are long-bone allografts harvested from donor upper extremities. This advanced method ensures deep cleaning, viral inactivation (SAL 10⁻⁶), and terminal sterilization, while preserving both the structural strength and biological properties of the graft.

Due to their length, geometry, and cortical-cancellous composition, Humerus Grafts are ideal for segmental reconstructions, limb salvage surgeries, and oncologic resections, where mechanical stability is required along with biological integration. The natural porosity supports revascularization and host bone remodeling.

Composition: Cortical-cancellous human humerus bone graft.

Biological Properties:

  • Osteoconductive: Acts as a scaffold for bone ingrowth.

  • Osteoinductive: Contains natural proteins that promote osteoblast activity.

  • Biocompatible: Remodels naturally into host skeletal structure.

Indications for Use

  • Oncology: Reconstruction after bone tumor resections.

  • Orthopedic Trauma: Large defect filling, limb salvage, and revision procedures.

  • Spinal & Shoulder Surgery: Used as a structural graft for stability and fusion.

  • Reconstructive Surgery: Complex orthopedic and extremity procedures requiring structural integrity.

Available Sizes:

  • Whole humerus grafts

  • Segmental humeral shafts or sections (customized on request)
