DBM Cubes are structural allograft blocks created from demineralized human cortical bone. This unique supercritical CO₂ processing ensures deep cleaning, virus inactivation (SAL 10⁻⁶), and preservation of the bone morphogenetic proteins (BMPs) responsible for osteoinduction.
The cube format provides both volume stability and biological performance, making it suitable for reconstructive procedures requiring a balance between mechanical support and rapid biological integration. Their natural porosity allows for vascular ingrowth and osteogenesis, while the demineralized surface promotes cell differentiation and bone regeneration.
Composition: 100% demineralized cortical bone in cube form.
Structure: Porous, resorbable scaffold with preserved osteoinductive growth factors.
Biological Properties:
Osteoconductive: Provides a scaffold for bone ingrowth.
Osteoinductive: Stimulates differentiation of progenitor cells into osteoblasts.
Biocompatible: Integrates seamlessly with host bone and remodels naturally.
Orthopedic & Trauma Surgery: Filling segmental defects, fracture reconstruction, revision cases.
Spinal Surgery: Used in cervical and lumbar fusion procedures where structural support is required.
Dental & Maxillofacial Surgery: Sinus lifts, ridge augmentations, and cavity fillings.
Oncology & Tumor Resection: Reconstruction of bone defects post-excision.
Standard cube sizes: 5 mm, 10 mm, 15 mm, and 20 mm (custom sizes available upon request).
