DBM Blocks are structural allograft grafts derived from demineralized human cortical bone, designed to provide both osteoconductive scaffolding and osteogenic stimulation. DBM Blocks retain natural bone morphogenetic proteins (BMPs) and growth factors while ensuring deep cleaning, viral inactivation (SAL 10⁻⁶), and freedom from chemical residues.
These blocks offer excellent volume stability for reconstruction and fusion procedures, making them particularly valuable in orthopedic, spinal, and maxillofacial surgeries that require mechanical integrity combined with biological activity. Their natural porosity supports vascularization, osteoblast activity, and integration with host bone.
Composition: 100% human-derived cortical bone, demineralized for osteoinductive potential.
Format: Solid block form, customizable in size and shape.
Biological Properties:
Osteoconductive: Provides 3D scaffold for bone ingrowth.
Osteoinductive: Stimulates progenitor cell differentiation into osteoblasts.
Biocompatible: Remodels into host bone with minimal immunogenic response.
Spinal Fusion: Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar interbody and posterolateral fusion.
Orthopedic Surgery: Segmental defect filling, trauma reconstruction, and revision arthroplasty.
Dental & Maxillofacial Surgery: Jawbone augmentation, sinus lift, and defect reconstruction.
Tumor & Oncology Cases: Filling large voids post-resection.
Rectangular and cubic blocks: 10 mm, 15 mm, 20 mm standard.
Long cortical strips: up to 50–60 mm length.
Custom sizing available upon request.
